This model has a sloping baffle inclined by 10° to the equidistant arrangement of the phase centers from the listener. It was the successor of the Myro Rebell as a high-quality compact speaker. The chassis are thus tuned and linearized below 10° to the listening axis. This results in a 10 ° better bundling behavior for both chassis. With a slightly larger tweeter, this allows a tweeter energy on axis and in space, as it would correspond to a smaller diaphragm diameter. The housing shape of the a priori 10.01 is also already found on the older ESS PS-62, which was otherwise equipped differently. The "10" in the designation indicates the year of development 2010. The current successor is the Wild Thing under the Wildland brand with a slightly fuller tonal tuning.
