  • Tech nically, the MDS-JB 920 is based on the MDS-JE 700, which has a very similar equipment, including the toroidal transformer. In 1998, both devices were still sold in parallel. The MDS-JB 920 encodes music data with the more modern ATRAC 1 4.5 compared to version 4.0 in the MDS-JE 700.
