"Very well equipped, attractively processed MD recorder with lively, bright sound and easy usability at a reasonable price." (p.39). Stereo 7/98: "Excel lently equipped recorder with digital modulation and noise reduction. Great price!" - 3 Stars - Excel lent. I use the 707 on a Pioneer A-33 1 with CS-780 (classic combination) and this is absolutely convincing in terms of sound. Does not follow the DTC 690, which I also drive on the amplifier / speaker combo, in no way.
