Unison Research Simply Two specifications

Category : Integrated amplifier

Brand : Unison Research

Brand : Unison Research

Model: Simply Two

Number of channels: 2

The Unison Research Simply Two has a deliberately simple Class A circuit that outputs around 7 watts with only one EL-34 power tube per channel. Actually, one should not think much, but its moderate volume sounds so good that many music enthusiasts wondered whether more performance can even hurt in terms of sound. The basic circuit runs via a double triode and the EL 34, which operates with full quiescent current. The Simply Two also does not lack fine work. Due to the rearrangement of the conductor paths from 35 to 105 micrometers, the signal paths have been shortened and there is less channel crosstalk. The in-house transformers and transmitters as well as the choke coils got new iron sheets. This allows a more uniform characteristic curve. In addition, Unison is using the Simply Two as a small bonus for the two EL 34 highly selected Sovtek versions.

The Simply Two is characterized by extremely natural timbres. It offers wonderful voice intelligibility and hyper-precise timing in your own living room.
