Not too much is known about the Coral Audio Corporation from Japan, which produced excellent speaker boxes and chassis. Founded probably in the 50s (the following prospectus dates from 1958), the company unfortunately went bankrupt in the mid-80s. From the late 60s, many well-known Japanese and German manufacturers used high-quality loudspeaker chassis in their product range. To be mentioned are ua. Sansui , Kenwood , Yamaha, Fostex and also Visaton. What is less well known is that Coral also manufactured amplifiers, tuners, receivers and turntables in the 60s and pickup systems in the 70s.
