• The Uma 1000 power amplifier showed a slight kinship only in this point,but in the remaining disciplines the power bundle distanced itself from the foreman Uher UPA 1000.Nimbly and with due pressure, the power amplifier massaged the abdominal wall of the testers.You could feel the loose reserves,because Film&The BBs didn't embarrass the Uher with Heart Throb (Big Notes,dmp/Inak) for a second.But that it's not just about the crowbar, the Uher impressively showed in the opener Kyrie from Beethoven's Missa Solemnis (DG).Almost even more freely than the competing Rotel RB 980 BX, the Uher managed to set up the choir.When it came to the fine broom work of Shelly Manne in the quartet with Laurinda Almeida,Ray Brown and Bud Shank, the brass could have been a little polished, the delicate swing lacked the silvery reverberation.But the rebelliously powerful gait helped the Uma 1000 to a furious, albeit tight entry in the 70 points-Congratulations.
