The above performance data are original specifications. Own measured powers at 50 Hz sine input signal:
~ 145 W at 8 ohms
~ 225 W at 4 ohms
Was measured at a corresponding load resistance with optical control by oscilloscopes for a 'clean' output signal. Only one channel was measured under power. Due to the design as a double mono power amplifier (separate power supplies), these powers should also be achieved on both power amplifiers at the same time. Whether this performance represents a continuous performance has not been checked, but these performances were achieved cleanly over a period of about 15 minutes. After that, the measurement was stopped to protect the load resistors, since they were not sufficiently dimensioned in terms of power.
The power amplifier has a switch-on delay and a protection circuit. This protection circuit is partially sensitive to network disturbances. A sufficiently dimensioned mains filter provides a remedy here.
