Very nice, solid and heavy device. Unfortunately, the lift unit is defective in almost all used devices. The reason is a broken plastic ring with a bracket("servo arm") for the lift function. Unfortunately, the corresponding spare part ((S) SFPAB13204A) has not been available at Tech nics or Panasonic for a long time. Meanwhile, there are replica parts from the 3D printer in the USA that fit very well and should also work, see here [[1]].
Skilled hobbyists have also successfully repaired broken levers, see here [[2]]
If you can't wait that long, a narrow cable tie is enough! HW
Lift spring also bend a little-pull! HW

With best heavy drive(+problems) from Tech nics (SP10 ff. reference) Attention - 3x transport screws, 7ee6bd4e01033ee909e058b5c60f7a7d "Concorde pro" quite sufficient!!
