  • As a medium-sized Model of the IT line of 1991/92 (in Japan, there was still the X111ES), the X333ES all of the design features of the larger models, without the High-End attributes such as a copper-plated Chassis – to show for it.
  • Overall, the X333ES is a solidly built and high-quality CD player, which even today does not need to shy away from comparison with high-end mass-produced products. In contrast to the more renowned 5 and 7 players, the X333ES is offered quite inexpensively used and is often the better choice compared to current new devices in the same price range.
  • The X333ES also plays CD-Rs perfectly, but they should have been burned at minimum speed.
  • Sony CD–Rs are optimal – for whatever reason.
