The Pass Aleph 0 are amplifier legends and the "first work" of the Pass Labs. Nelson Pass founded Pass Labs after successful work for Threshold (where he acquired, among other things, the well-known Stasis power amplifiers) in order to be able to produce amplifiers completely according to his ideas. The first result was the Aleph 0 Monos, a high-performance mono amplifier based on Solid State Class A technology. Accurate technical data is difficult to get today. It is ensured that the monos up to 80 watts DIN work in pure Class A operation. Also measurable for everyone are the approx. 34 KG weight per mono amp and an operating temperature of approx. 50 degrees.
In fact, you can use these monos to operate any loudspeaker in the world, if you don't have any concert halls to sound on. The sound is extremely vivid, finely resolved, fast and yet bass-strong. The Alephs combine the advantages of tube amplifiers and transistors in their character.
