The Onkyo TA-2070 device has the largest and heaviest flywheel mass of all Onkyo cassette decks
This Onkyo cassette deck is undoubtedly of the top class.
The Onkyo TA-2070 was not built by Nakamichi and is often mentioned in the same breath as, for example, the Teac Z-6000 , a Luxman K-04 or the Sansui D-970. According to Stereoplay, it belongs to the same group (top class 2) as the legendary Nakamichi Dragon or another top tape deck. Only high-end tape recorders are listed in top class 1.
The drive of the Onkyo TA-2070 is found in a modified form in the Nakamichi CR 4
