KX-9010
Apparently there were device versions with and without microphone inputs (see photos below). These are located on the front of the devices sold in the BR Germany to the left of the headphone jack.
The KX-9010 is a top class deck in terms of sound and structure and is on the level of Sony TC-K 770 ES /Sony TC-K 870 ES or Nakamichi CR-4 E or Nakamichi LX-5. However, in-house recordings are dependent on the perfect function of the automatic band calibration, and this, due to very low capacitive and aging-prone electrolytic capacitors in its circuit, sometimes loses precision over the decades. If you are not afraid to lend a hand yourself, you will get an absolute topclass sound deck after a complete revision of the device. However, pure opamprolling is not the bringer.
The device does not have an extra bias controller. The automatic calibration makes all the calibration work during the recording here. The result can be overheard with backband control.
