Fidelity specifications

The hi-fi company, which was highly appreciated in insider circles at the time, around Frank Steckel (developer) and Stephan Steiner (marketing), built high-end "Made in Germany" in the 80s, which could compete with the "biggest names" of the manufacturers in terms of sound.

The Fidelity Topas power amplifier was partly described in tests by the magazine Stereoplay as an "overachiever", which was far above the offered price range in terms of sound in the assessment, e.g. in Stereoplay 08/1986

Other devices were also rated very well in some cases in the trade press.
