The DREIEC K GmbH is known for high-quality design glass furniture. With DREIECK SOUND , the company now combines SOUND with DESIGN and proves that glass is by no means unsuitable as a sound body. Thus, a glass loudspeaker could be developed with international audio experts, which convinces even in the absolute high-end league.
GLASS SPEAKER
Frequency range : below 16Hz (lowest tuning Q0.5 at 16Hz in the 4pi free field) to above 30kHz (-3dB) at +/-1dB from the target tuning
Typical distortion factor : below 0.3% at 96dB in the critical mid/ high range
< p>Directional characteristic : pure monopole below 90Hz, dipole point sound source above 150Hz, smooth transition between them with cardioid characteristictweeter : (1 per channel): specially developed dipole air motion transformer with extreme dynamics, ultra-low distortions and very linear amplitude response
midrange : (2 per channel): proprietary 180mm magnesium cone loudspeaker with low-inductive, linear drive, low mechanical losses, titanium voice coil carrier and resonances far out of the transmission range
woofer : (2 per channel in force-compensating coupling): ultra-linear, very long-stroke construction with extremely rigid 250 mm aluminum cone, low mechanical losses and 10 kg magnetic drive, Diaphragm resonances far outside the transmission range
Power amplifier : 1 for the subwoofer, 1 for the mid / high range with 400 W each. Optional semi-active configuration with freely selectable external power amplifier for the mid / high range and one internal power amplifier for each of the two subwoofer speakers (400W + 400W)
Crossover : latest DSP - Crossover technology in combination with passive high / mid-range crossover, decoupled from internal air pressure fluctuations and vibrations. Optional semi-active configuration with purely passive crossover for the mid / high frequency range for an external power amplifier and DSP -controlled active subwoofer
Dimensions : approx. 35 x 51 x 110 cm (W x D x H)
Weight : approx. 80 kg
