Trenner & Friedl is a loudspeaker manufacturer from Graz in Austria The company was founded in 1994 by Andreas Friedl and Peter Trenner. With the USA, Trenner & Friedl will certainly get a potent but also difficult distribution. At the same time, Trenner & Friedl and Bernhard Lenz are working on a hi-fi design furniture for Graz as the Capital of Culture in 2003 that will win several design awards. The EditionSpace is being created under the patronage of Bernhard Lenz . 2004 Start of the partnership and loose cooperation with Crayon a friendly team from Styria, which produces high-end amplifiers and CD players. ART the smallest isolator & Friedl loudspeaker is born and is soon the best-selling loudspeaker of Isolator & Friedl. The production "Lightsignals" is presented. 2005 Another Hifi furniture from the EditionSpace line is being developed, which is winning prizes again. With Norbert Hessenberger, a man was brought into the team who has the necessary knowledge for this. For Soundscape, a grant was submitted to the impulse program of the creative industries and won. This enabled the necessary equipment to be purchased and a first prototype to be developed.

In 2007 a distributor for China, Hong Kong and Macao could be found for Trenner & Friedl . The order situation is literally exploding. The manufacturing process must be completely rethought and optimized for the increasing quantities. 2008 Miles, who had already seen the light of day in 1994 and gave the starting signal for the speakers from Trenner & Friedl , has been revised and will be back in the product portfolio in a new design. Miles will be presented for the first time at the CES in Las Vegas in January 2008 and can inspire there. 2009 represents a turning point in the loudspeaker production of Trenner & Friedl . You leave well-trodden paths and produce a loudspeaker that already stands out or better NOT stands out due to its extremely restrained and simple design. Even the company logo was applied only on the back. The new loudspeaker, which was christened RA, is extremely efficient. As a result, it no longer provides a significant load for the amplifier and so even very small powers from 8W of the RA can elicit volume levels in the disco level. "The finest birch plywood, selected veneers, sheep's wool as insulation, the paper membranes impregnated with six layers of balsamic Italian oil varnish. All the proportions are consistently in the golden ratio, right down to the wiring," Trenner & Friedl describe the RA and hardly give any technical details so as not to let the focus slip from the music to the sound again. 2011 at CES 2011 in Las Vegas, Trenner & Friedl will present the completely redesigned DUKE. Together with Jeff Rowland and 8e3789ece9cf2419afdd4ad6c6ea6ccf, a system of superlatives will be shown.
