Special features

The MN6631A ICs are no longer available and sensitive to input pulses. Responsible for audio input switching. Owners often report short circuits in the ICs when active RCA connections are disconnected or plugged in during operation. This is generally not recommended anyway. The ICs in question have the numbers 301 to 305 in the service manual. Symptom: The device turns on, input switching does not work, the input selector LEDs are dark and the fuse in the 18 (23) volt supply range burns out immediately.
