Information from the company. Panasonic /Technics about this unit: This unit is a quartz synthesizer FM/MW stereo tuner. DC amplifier, detector and stereo decoder. Automatic 19kHz pilot tone suppression provides a linear transmission range from 5 Hz to 18 kHz (+0.2dB, -0.5dB). Ceramic filters with linear group delay in the IF stage guarantee a selectivity of high 85dB (VHF) or 55dB (MW). The quartz synthesizer allows the preprogramming of up to eight FM and AM stations, which can then be called up at the touch of a button. The station set before switching off is retained in the memory. Equipped with a timer that can be programmed for two programs per day plus an additional program once a day or weekly and also serves as a digital time clock. This model was launched on the market in 1982/1983 (in Germany). Note.: But is already shown in the Technics catalogue 1980/81.
