    • 1-bit High Density Linear Converter System, 8-pulse D/A converter, 64-fold oversampling, 45-bit digital filter (noise shaping)
    • Direct DigitalSync System: Since the D/A converter converts the analog music signal back by changing the pulse density, a particularly exact Clock frequency is required. That's why Sony has integrated the Direct DigitalSync system into the new Pulse D/A converter. A high-precision quartz oscillator is connected directly to this in order to achieve minimum digital jitter and maximum conversion accuracy.
    • Digital Deemphasis: Some of the CDs on the market are recorded with preemphasis, i.e. with an increase in the highs to improve the signal-to-noise ratio. When playing the record, the heights are then lowered in a mirror image. Conventional systems use analog technology for this and are therefore not 100% accurate. The digital deemphasis function ensures that this process takes place with the required digital precision. So that losses or sound losses do not have to be expected, especially at high frequencies.
