The Pioneer PL-5 12X is a 2-speed, manual, belt-driven turntable with static balance type S-shaped tonearm.
The speed is adjusted by moving the belt to a different axis diameter of the motor shaft.
The PL-512X is so simply built, nothing can break, no electronics have been installed here,
- only the belt and the needle have to be changed every now and then.
The housing is made of 30 mm MDF, milled from below and is closed with a hard-fiber lid.
The simple design guarantees decades of enjoyment.
