Onkyo -RI ("Remote-Interactive") system bus, through which you can connect the CD player to an amplifier/ receiver from Onkyo . This makes the CD player controllable with the remote control of the receiver/ amplifier. In addition, a cassette deck can be operated with a remote control such as RC-278C or RC-340C. An extra cable with 2x 3.5 mm jack plug (mono) is required.
Original remote control is a RC-402C. It's just as other, slightly older remotes, such as RC-278C, RC 279C, RC-340C.
As with the previous model, the Onkyo DX-7222 the Display when the silver model is dark yellow, with the black model is mint green.
No 10-key keyboard on the device, very puristic front
As with the DX-7222, there are no hi-fi feet (plastic/ metal or ceramic) but small feet made of hard rubber
