  • Common errors in used equipment: After you Insert a CD and Close the tray, the CD is not inserted, and the drawer opens again. The reason is a worn-out rubber belt that hangs on the motor for the drawer mechanism. As a result, the drawer slide is not pulled completely into the reading position. Replacement belts are available, for example, on eBay. Replacing the belt is quite a hassle, because you have to remove the drive to the front. But with a new rubber belt, the error disappeared abruptly.
