Offered for US market as model ST-17U without RDS, but with remote control RC-17ST.

Stereo 1/1998: (Test of the system with PM-17, St-17 and CD-17 M): Very good, 2 stars.
Stereoplay 4/1998: Sound/ reception rating: good, 18 points (from mid-1998 = 36 points), price/ performance: good. "Noble tuner with a richly equipped output side, but a rather modest high-frequency part. Sounds balanced overall - unspectacular." (Ibid., P.145)
