  • The LV105 preamplifier has a Tube. Hybrid technology at Luxman means combining the sound of a tube with the power of a transistor.
  • This gives the listener a particularly warm and harmonious sound.
  • Then as now, this type of amplifier is offered in the high to high price segment.
  • At Christmas 1985, the specialist dealer gave me the LV105, Yamaha A1020 and Onkyo A-8017 as well as the Dynaudio Compound 3 speakers for listening comparison. Together with my SABA Professional 1300, the LV105 emerged as a purchase decision for me.
  • Before I put a surround system into operation, the LV105 controlled, among other things, the sound reinforcement of the DVD and video films. Equipped with the separate AV inputs on the front and back, I took advantage of the possibility of a direct connection between a video camera and a VCR or later a DVD recorder.
