W. Kücke & Co. GmbH, later also known as KS Electronic (KS : Kücke & Schmitz) Kücke & Co. GmbH. This company developed exclusive Hi-fi electronics in the 70s and 80s in almost perfect studio technology. Winfried Kücke was in charge of the commercial part and Friedrich Schmitz was in charge of the technical development.
In the eighties, ASC began to sell Kücke's components under its own name and finally took over the sole distribution of KS electronics (Audio 4/82) in 1982. In 1984, the time of production at Kücke (Stereo) ended and ASC now also took over the production of the formerly KS devices. Kücke's loudspeaker production was continued at Audio-Team (KS -Audio Team ). At the end of the eighties, Winfried Kücke, together with Stefan Brocksieper (> EarMax headphone amplifier), tried to re-enter the company Music Components GmbH as a high-end manufacturer (stereo 10/87), which, however, seems to have left little trace.
Today, the Kücke devices are taken care of by the company Schilder-Klar [1] in Wuppertal, which Winfried Kücke runs together with his son.
