First turntable that was pressed from a mixture of plastic, rock and glass fiber under high pressure and temperature to completely eliminate resonances. According to the original operating instructions, the resonance-free frame is made of "special material, deformed under high pressure. The material consists of a homogeneous compound of mineral (stone flour, glass fibers) and chemical components (calcium carbide, unsaturated polyester resins)." Which also explains the relatively high weight.
