No stereo recording is possible with this mono device. It could be tried out whether stereo playback via socket 3 (additional amplifier output) would be possible. Actually, in trick recordings, only the respective parallel track switches to playback. Otherwise, a channel from socket 3 (or the additional amplifier connected there) and one from the radio socket could be led out with a Y-cable, whereby the track selection must not be set to D (duo / dual).
Stereo tapes can only be heard in mono with D, whatever is necessary when playing over the stereo system (if the stereo attempts fail). For mono recording of a stereo broadcast, the receiver must be switched to mono, otherwise only one channel will be recorded.
Attention: The headphone jack only plays one channel, but has a much higher voltage and can endanger the stereo system!
