Stereo power amplifier of 2x 4 W / 5.5 W with 4 loudspeakers (2 per channel)
Automatic STOP at the end of the band
The TK 247 and the TK 241 (mono) were the only fully transistor devices from the 200 series until 1969
The design is similar to the Grundig TK 245; it is 4 cm wider (more Speakers) and the level controllers are rearranged
Special features: The automatic recording level control of the TK 245 has been dispensed with
Both stereo channels are controlled together via a controller
It does not quite meet the HI-FI standard DIN-45500, which was co-developed by Grundig and is effective as a HIFI for all suitable devices was printed on; neither by the TK 245, nor by the TK 247, even if both devices are certified to have a high fidelity of sound. Nevertheless, sellers are happy to misleadingly offer both types as HIFI stereo tape recorders.
Note: the mains selector switch has been delivered to 220 volts. Since 1987, however, the power grid has had 230 volts and the selector switch should be switched to 240 volts with a coin (photo) - to protect the device
