English handicraft from the 70s. This version is without Dolby (R). All load-bearing components are made of solid aluminum, but nevertheless this Logic 7, like all ferrographs, is very heavy with 26Kg.

The Logic 7 offers four speeds, whereby three are always directly selectable (7.5, 19 and 38). Fer rograph Logic 7 is designed as a 3-head machine, whereby the recording can basically be adjusted to the "original" by the adjustment knobs mounted on the front panel. This machine is a half-track machine, whereby there should also be a four-track version. All inputs as well as all outputs are designed as a 6.3 mm jack, which are connected to ground via internal contacts and thus the term "open inputs or outputs" is not to be found in Fer rograph, but unfortunately is unavoidable in the case of fashionable RCA connections.

Due to age, the rubber parts decompose on these machines. Especially the capstan roller and 3 pressure rollers. Since there is currently the possibility to re-vulcanize them on the original cores, this has also been done with this machine. For example, DAVE DURRANT (david.durrant@btinternet.com ) from England a convincing service with very good results. To re-vulcanize all four wheels at Dave, this service costs about 70 EUROS incl. Shipping.
