"... No other product known to us currently manages to transport fine-tuned acoustics so competently into a small housing and, on top of that, also to boast on the equipment side. Due to the integration of high-quality dual Class A / B mono amplifiers in each of the two sound sources, the inclined music lover can give himself the search for power amplifiers as well as expensive preamplifiers. With the help of high-quality sound cards, converters or CD players, the Dynaudio Focus110A allows the operation of a compact and highly efficient chain (e.g. also directly via the LS outputs of flat screen TVs). This is what saving looks like at a high level in 2010! ..."
Fairaudio Released 6/2009; Individ ual test: without final grade
"Dynaudio has achieved a small coup with the Focus 110 A compact loudspeaker - the tonal equivalent for the money is very high and this is all the more true because thanks to the active concept it is already possible to 'save up front', i.e. with hi-fi electronics. At least the output for the final amplification is omitted - this is the nature of the matter -, and personally I even think that in all likelihood you will drive better sonically if you invest in a higher-quality source instead of a separate preamplifier. Which of course must have a controllable high-level output and should ideally be able to take over certain pre-functionalities (access for other sources). ..."
