The number 3 is not to be confused with the number 3 models.

The interior layout of the box is interesting. The frequency separation of the two low / midrange loudspeakers does not take place via the crossover, but purely acoustically via the size of the resonance chamber. Small volume for the midrange use of the upper speaker, much larger volume for the lower speaker than woofer. This interior division takes place via a transversely installed plate, so that interference is also effectively prevented as a result.

The ALR number 3 was the test winner several times in its class. The sound is quite neutral and well resolved. Low frequencies are less dominant than you might be used to from current speakers. The size of the listening room should not be too small (>20qm), cable cross-section from 3qmm, use short cables (2-3m). The number 3 is a box that you can listen to for hours without it getting annoying, and that even at higher volumes.
