This device is getting extremely warm, it should be provided with sufficient ventilation. Rega rding the sound, there will hardly be another surround amplifier that comes close to this device due to its completely symmetrical signal processing. Other models of the same series: This device was an independent development by Yamaha, without having resorted to the amplifier design of previous AV amplifiers. It should be understood as a response to the Denon line AVC A1 SE/SR/SRA, which set the standards in terms of performance and build quality between 2000 and 2003. From the amplifier design, the DSP A 1000/3090 / A1/AX1/AZ1 and Z11 are to be viewed in a row, the Z9 drops out (for more see the link below). The amplifier was developed by Mr. Izumi Ozeki and Mr. Hirochika Maegaki from Yamaha and is now considered a milestone for Yamaha in its 125-year history (2012).
