Description of T+A

Almost everything has been newly developed on this loudspeaker. The beginning was with the elaborately designed housings made of multilayer molded wood. Although this speaker has a long, folded transmission line and is equipped with two 22-cm woofers with a carbon fiber diaphragm, it looks elegant and slim. All housing surfaces are curved, which additionally stabilizes the body and makes it practically resonance-free. The bass therefore reaches even deeper and is stunningly clean and dry. The midrange driver is also newly developed. A stiffly suspended and feather-light membrane with an extremely large voice coil gives the entire midrange a never-before-heard dynamics and cleanliness. The peak of this speaker is the tweeter. An electrostatic is working here. The membrane of the electrostatic is virtually mass-free and is driven by a homogeneous force field over the entire surface. The TCI 2 E has level controls for the tweeter, midrange and bass range, completely separate FSR switches for low and midrange with separate connections.
