The sound-absorbing material behind the fabric dome prevents reflections from the back from acting on the membrane. The real special feature, however, lies in the extremely low diaphragm mass, which enables a cut-off frequency of 45,000 Hz. The resulting fine resolution meets the requirements of modern SAC D and audio DVD.
