When connecting only one pair of speakers, the outer terminals are occupied. With two pairs of speakers, the speakers are connected in series. Only 8-16 ohms allowed. A matching tuner can be connected via the 7-pin DIN socket (parallel to the RCA tuner input), this is then supplied with power via the amplifier. The tape switch takes precedence over the other three inputs. There was also a big brother at Quelle that corresponded to the FA 144 or FA 145, this one did not have the 7-pin DIN socket for radio, but two tape connections and more power. The two TAPE buttons were between the upper and lower switch row and the position of the switch next to loudness was occupied with something else.
