Both externally and internally, the TA-6510 is largely identical to its predecessor , the TA-2051. Only the color of the back panel and the inscription on the device (at the 2051 = gold) differ! The BdA also has the same text.

The device still has "the old" Onkyo dimension: 45.5 cm width.

With the next smaller deck, the TA-6310, it is similar in appearance, but it has a single-capstan drive, Dolby S and more automatic functions.
