Double chassis arrangement: The double chassis arrangement on the AW-12 results in two advantages: From an acoustic point of view, the vertical distribution of the low-frequency sources reduces room resonances between floor and ceiling. Because two 18 cm woofers have about the same diaphragm area as a chassis with a diameter of 26 cm, the subwoofer can be made narrower and thus more discreet in appearance with similar power values.

Chassis Two superimposed 18 cm long stroke chassis with fiberglass paper membrane and more than 30 mm maximum deflection enable a particularly slim design. At the same time, the vertical chassis arrangement reduces the occurrence of room resonances (modes) between floor and ceiling that are prone to booming. Connecting strands woven into the centering spider guarantee clean and trouble-free operation of this woofer chassis, which has already proven itself in the nuVero 14, even with the most extreme deflections.

Amplifier module The amplifier module of the AW-12, which has been completely newly developed by us, has a high-quality power supply with toroidal transformer, which provides power reserves of up to 350 watts for dynamic music. In addition, a highly efficient switching power supply enables standby readiness with the lowest power consumption. This means that the power consumption is less than 0.5 watts. In the signal path, the amplifier module operates exclusively analogously. All parameters are adjusted via micro-controller and also stored in the off state. All settings for volume, filter and phase are realized by digital potentiometers.
