Possible fault symptoms of aging electronics:

--> Oxidized chinch sockets (main cause) or cold due to mechanical force A solder joint has been created on these.

--> Oxidized relay contacts Output, tone control, MM/MC switching (Attention: type is not pin-compatible with DIL relays). Clean contacts or replace relays with DIL version via adapter board.

--> Measure all voltages on the reed relay, possibly residual voltage in the range of 7V on a reed relay other than the selected source. LEDs of the source display function as a diode decoupling matrix and are charged with a high reverse voltage (design error!). An increase in the reverse current of the LED due to aging can lead to the cause of the fault (about 5Kohm in the reverse direction).

--> Cracking noises when operating the potentiometer, e.g. caused by a broken resistor track or faulty crimping connection pin (rare error)

Only the experienced electronics technician should dare to repair his valuable Kücke electronics. Often, more breakage is repaired than repaired as a result of the intervention (repair attempt) and then ends up in the online auction house in the worst case. Burned-out traces, misaligned trimmers (you should know what you are doing if you turn around on trimmers for no reason without knowing their function), etc. are the result.
