Stereo power amplifier in service-friendly modular design. Classic push-pull output stage with bipolar power transistors in AA-B circuit can be bridged to mono. Due to the weak power supply, an increase in power to 280W is to be expected in a bridge circuit only with a speaker impedance of 8 ohms.

Other models of the same series:

Error symptoms of the aging electronics

--> Replace suspicious electrolytic capacitors with low-ESR types, e.g. Panasonic , at best check all the respective power amplifier module boards

--> Check the soldering points of the board and re-solder suspicious ones. Due to the screwed-on heat sink on the bridge rectifier, cold solder joints are often formed here as a result of the action of force. This is evident when the heat sink tends to one direction when the screw connection is tightened.

--> Parameter drift from a transistor in the discrete differential input stage (Important to use paired replacement transistors (current amplification factor Ic_beta + Ube) from well-known manufacturers). Pairing is no longer rocket science with the universal component testers available today!!

--> Cleaning oxidized contacts of output relays with emery cloth or replacing relays with new compatible type

--> Oxidized chinch sockets (main cause) or cold solder joint caused by mechanical force on these

--> Oxidized contacts of input relays (attention: type is not pin-compatible with DIL relays). Clean contacts or replace relay contacts with wire jumpers.

--> Loss of capacitance of the only coupling capacitor on one of the power amplifier boards

Only the experienced electronics technician should dare to repair his valuable Kücke electronics. 7a9842020bf91cb2958977171e7c2b24ENTION: There are voltages inside the power amplifier that exceed 42V, the VDE guidelines must be observed. Often, more breakage is repaired than repaired as a result of the intervention (repair attempt) and then ends up in the online auction house in the worst case. Burned-out traces, misaligned trimmers (you should know what you are doing if you turn around on trimmers for no reason without knowing their function), etc. are the result.
