XLR input jack at the satellites from the MKI was for later regulation of the satellites was thought, but was never used.
Nomenclature: The manufacturer designated the combination of subwoofer and satellite with a system in each case.X is a system. One for the big, system. Two for the medium-sized and system.Three for the small system. The subwoofers were included in each case.1, using the satellites .2, the system.One.1 for the large subwoofers and e.g. System.Three.2 for the smallest satellites.
The MK-I version was developed by Mr. Karl-Heinz Fink, Mr. Manfred Diestertich is responsible for the MK-II version, today at Audiophysic.
The crossover modules of the two versions differ in practicality in that the modules could be switched off in the MK I version. Thus, it was possible to listen in the evening without a subwoofer over the satellites in full range. This is not possible with the MK II. You have to switch here.
In the MK II version of the subwoofer electronics there is a jumper that overrides the built-in filter. So can the woofer of the system. One, -.Two and -.Three versions can be operated universally as a subwoofer with an external woofer crossover or via an AV receiver.
