,When I took my covered Infinity Kappa 6.2i out of the basement after 11 years,I noticed that the Polydome membrane was no longer transparent, but now yellow.When I had overcome my first shock, I decided to dismantle the midrange driver and take it apart , because the surface could not be removed from the outside. The disassembly of the dome did not cause any difficulties (screwed) The ugly covering was on the inside of the dome and could be carefully cleaned by me with alcohol.I was able to achieve the bead-like curvature with a cotton pad. A touch of silicone spray and the dome shone in a new shine. The "repair" of the second dome took 10 minutes. The box has been hanging on the amplifier again for 2 months and still looks the same as on the day of repair. All the expensively traded Kappas here on the net have the problem and no one dares to use the bus key. Where does the gilb on the inside actually come from?"
