Grundig Fine Arts M-100 specifications

Self-development of the old Grundig AG (until 2003) from Fürth. Initially manufactured at Grundig in Portugal (Braga) and towards the end of the production period at the Grundig plant in Bayreuth. The devices of the FineArts M 100 series were delivered from 1999 with a modified front panel. The FineArts logo has been replaced by the inscription "Grundig ". The devices have remained technically unchanged. The reason for the change of the logo was the market launch of a new FineArts premium line in the TV sector. These devices were selectively marketed as a new high-priced exclusive series. Although there are officially only three color versions of the system or building blocks (silver, aluminum-silver, black), but there are color deviations in the devices of the first years of production! The first production lots had a rather champagne-colored livery, the later devices became rather silver. This can be clearly seen when the devices are stacked on top of each other - the silver is much darker. Unfortunately, devices with both color versions were often sold in stores at the same time. Therefore, when buying, pay attention to color purity. Unfortunately, there are even individual devices whose front has color differences between the front panel and drawer panels (cassette deck, CD player) as well as volume control / tone control.
