Very nice and timeless Mono device with excellent radio reception. The 403ca5df590f54cff2a36496f49b015f C6000 automatic quickly became the best-selling radio recorder in its sector in the 1970s. During the sales period of several years, more than 500,000 pieces were sold. The sensational radio reception was certainly also a building block for this success. The cassette part was not outstanding, but it met the standard of that time. Unfortunately, the cassette drive is quite susceptible to malfunctions with regard to the installed gears nowadays (the gears of the drive tend to crumble because of the soft plastic material used at that time - still intact devices are therefore very rare). Only on the devices of the first series, gears made of harder plastic were used, but this also caused somewhat louder operating noise. These drive noises then annoyingly interfered with the recordings from the built-in microphone. For this reason, a slightly softer and smoother-running plastic was installed for the gears from the second series onwards. Unfortunately, however, this also has an impact on the durability and long-term stability of the gears. Unfortunately, this problem affects all 403ca5df590f54cff2a36496f49b015f cassette drives of all series through the bank.
