The amplifier should have produced about 2000-3000 pieces, it is the first integrated amplifier from Exposure , designed by John Farlowe. The Exposure 10 is a typical English amplifier and has very conventional, discrete amplifier circuits, in his case with bipolar transistors. Particular attention was paid to the possible load- or frequency-response-independent voltage supply of the individual stages within the budget, moderately high negative feedback, a defined ground routing and the use of small components in the signal path that are as massless as possible (e.g. 10µF coupling capacitors). The sound can be described as very musical, in view of the low continuous power extremely (!) powerful and dynamic, this is more than comforting over the moderate noise voltage gap, due to the pre-stage voltage regulation. For operation, the manufacturer's own speaker cables (similar in construction or - the same as Naim , Linn K20, etc...) recommend. This makes sense in terms of circuitry, on the one hand, better control of the LS chassis is achieved due to the low cable capacitance, on the other hand, simple output stages without a coil (like this one) could oscillate and burn out at the low RF impedances of the cables.
