https://www.stereo.de/hifi-test/produkt/canton-chrono-70-1788 Stereo: The Chrono by Canton is spirited, bass-heavy and quite audiophile. She pleases as a harmonious all-rounder with very good imaging performance and is also an unrestrictedly party-ready dynamicist. Measured values Nominal impedance at DC: 4 Ohm minimum impedance: 3.5 Ohm minimum impedance at: 160 Hz maximum impedance: 9 Ohm maximum impedance at: 73 Hz Characteristic sound pressure (2.83 V/m): 85 dBSPL Power for 94 dBSPL : 10.3 W Lower cut-off frequency (-3dBSPL ): 34 Hz Total harmonic distortion at 63/3k/10k Hz: 0.4/0.4/0.2 % Speaker frequency range: 25...40.000 Hz
The Canton shows a fairly linear, i.e. balanced and very low-reaching frequency response with an early treble drop if it is not angled in. Just put it up, it has disappeared, and it sounds neutral to fresh. We recommend very easy screwing in. The linearized impedance is good-natured, the efficiency is average, the timing is good with acceptable after-oscillators.
